One Thing to Grow Your Marriage: Husband Editionનમૂનો

Today's One Thing: Review the questions listed below and consider which step you need to take. Take that step toward resolving any anger in your marriage today!
In the early days of graduate school, one of my teachers had a chart showing the progression of unresolved anger in our lives. It showed that over time anger does not just go away, but can grow into bitterness and even result in death.
Anger itself is not bad. The Bible says in Ephesians 4:26, “be angry and do not sin.” Anger tells us that something is wrong; something needs to be dealt with or needs to change. In marriage, when we get angry, we need to deal with our anger. We need to resolve the issue. We need to be quick to forgive like Paul tells the Colossians in 3:13, and we need to move forward.
Here’s your five questions mentioned above:
- Do you have anger toward your wife?
- What can you do to resolve the anger?
- Do you need to talk to your wife?
- Do you need to forgive your wife?
- Do you need to ask for forgiveness?
Whatever the step, why not take it today?
About this Plan

When Awesome Marriage began, the mission was simple: help hurting marriages heal, healthy marriages grow, and families stay together. I realized through my time in the counseling center and through my marriage with Nancy that one of the biggest obstacles for couples is staying intentional about investing in their marriage. This plan is designed to give you one tangible and practical thing to do each day this week to grow your marriage toward Christ and one another! What can God do for your marriage in a week? Let’s find out!
