I Need Hopeનમૂનો

Day 1 – "Is Hope Still an Option for Me?"
Welcome to the I Need Hope Bible Plan. We're so glad you're here.
Before you dive in, take a moment to pause. Breathe. Ask yourself, what brought you here today? Are you searching for hope in a hard season? Did a friend share this with you, or are you tucking it away for a rainy day?
Whatever your reason, you're in the right place. Let this be a space where your heart can rest, reflect, and be reminded that you are never too far gone from the grace of God.
Now, take a deep breath… and consider these questions:
- Am I holding on to deep shame, even though I have asked God to forgive me for the sin in my life?
- Am I struggling to receive God’s forgiveness, which He so freely offers me through Jesus, His Son?
- Am I letting fear control my next steps forward—or worse, am I letting it paralyze me from living the full, abundant life that Jesus died to give me?
- Am I choosing not to hope because I feel unworthy of anything good?
If any of these resonate deeply with you and you find yourself saying, “Yes…” Exhale and breathe this in: There is hope for me.
Let these words be oxygen to your soul as you feel the tug on your heart to come close to Jesus again, or maybe even for the first time.
Since the beginning of time, the thread of hope has been woven into the fabric of human history. When God created Adam and Eve in Genesis, He gave them specific instructions not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but every other tree in the Garden of Eden was theirs to enjoy.
It was when the serpent came to deceive Eve and told her that God was keeping something from her that she "saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate" (Genesis 3:6 ESV).
And just like that, the first sin in all of creation happened. Fear gripped Adam and Eve to the point where they hid from God, their Creator, the Lover of their souls.
Now imagine God, the One who met them in the cool of the day, walking in the garden, and His beloved creation is nowhere to be found.
“Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man, ‘Where are you?’ He answered, ‘I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid’” (Genesis 3:8-10 NIV).
Adam and Eve's eyes were opened to sin and evil, and now they felt the shame and regret of their choice. Their first instinct when they heard God coming was to hide.
Are you hiding right now? When you hear about Jesus or feel His presence drawing close to your heart, do you want to run? Are you trying to cover your sin on your own, like Adam and Eve did when they covered themselves with fig leaves?
You hear God calling your name, just as He called out to Adam, “Where are you?” And you are afraid because of the mess you made, so you hide.
When Adam and Eve confessed what they had done, God did something powerful. He turned to the serpent and said:
“Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel” (Genesis 3:14-15 NIV, emphasis mine).
The “offspring” here refers to someone significant: Jesus. These very words that God spoke to the serpent were a foreshadowing of the Living Hope that was to come. Of course, it would be thousands of years later when the Son of God would hang between heaven and earth on a cross and crush the enemy's head once and for all. But hope was already in motion even BEFORE Adam and Eve fell.
You see, God was not surprised when Adam and Eve sinned, and He isn’t surprised when we sin. He already had a plan in motion. Jesus was the plan. The shedding of His blood was the price for you, for all the disobedience you would ever choose in your life.
And when He rose on the third day, after lying in the tomb as your sin, your shame, your regret, and your pain, He rose with all authority in His hand, crushing the enemy's head once and for all.
Sin has no power over you anymore.
You can be free from whatever trap the serpent is trying to pull you into. You can silence the lies he’s been whispering in your ear: “You’ll never be loved by God or by people. You’ve gone too far this time. There’s no hope for you now.” Lies. It’s all lies.
Even in times when you listen to the enemy and fall again, there is an endless well of grace and mercy waiting for you.
So take that deep breath again, and say it out loud this time: “There is hope for me.”
Let’s go through the Bible together in the next few days to see just how high, how deep, and how wide the love of God goes. Eternity has to be eternity for us even to capture a glimpse of how truly magnificent God's love for us is. My prayer is that you see this magnificent love not just through this 5-day plan, but for all the days of your life until you're face-to-face with the Lover of your soul.
Hope was always meant for you—even from the beginning.
