Letter 5: You Are Deeply Loved

My Dearly Loved One,

Before you ever loved Me, I loved you. I loved you first (1 John 4:19). My love is not based on your behavior or emotions—it is steady, unchanging, and eternal. I demonstrated that love by giving My Son for you, so that you might live through Him (1 John 4:9). You are forgiven, cleansed, and made new—because love did what law never could.

You are My child, and I have called you by name (Isaiah 43:1). I’ve poured My love into your heart through the Spirit I gave you (Romans 5:5). You are not trying to earn My affection—you already have it. You don’t need to perform to get My attention—you’ve already captured My heart.

You are the one for Me. I adopted you, not reluctantly, but gladly, because it brought Me pleasure (Ephesians 1:5). I have lavished the riches of My grace on you (Ephesians 1:7–8). And I call you holy, blameless, and My delight (Colossians 1:22; Ephesians 1:4).

You are My workmanship—My handcrafted masterpiece. Everything about you has been intentionally formed in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:10). I know you intimately. Every thought, every joy, every sorrow. And I walk with you through it all.

When you weep, I comfort you (2 Corinthians 1:4). When you stumble, I lift you. When you wonder if you’re truly loved, just look to the cross—My answer is yes. Always yes.

So live today knowing you are perfectly loved. Because nothing can separate you from My love—not death, not life, not anything in all creation (Romans 8:38–39).
