Day 22: Prayer for Courage to Face Challenges

Reflection: Courage is not the absence of fear, but the decision to act despite fear. Children face many challenges that require courage: standing up to bullies, trying new things, overcoming disabilities, or even surviving difficult circumstances.

When we pray for courage to face challenges, we're asking God to strengthen children's hearts and minds with his supernatural courage. We're interceding for children who feel overwhelmed by their circumstances, who want to give up, or who don't believe they have what it takes to overcome their obstacles. We're also praying for opportunities for children to develop courage through age-appropriate challenges and for communities that support and encourage brave choices. God's command to be strong and courageous comes with a promise: He will be with us wherever we go. This promise gives children the confidence to face whatever challenges come their way.

Today, let us pray for courage in the hearts of children facing difficulties, for those who need to make brave choices, and for communities that celebrate courage over comfort. May we be courage-builders in the lives of the children we encounter.
