Many of the stories of the patriarchs of Genesis are ones of waiting and wondering if God is going to bring good from hard situations. No matter what we’re facing in life, we can take it to God in prayer. Hebrews 4:16 tells us that we can confidently approach the throne of grace to receive help and mercy.Take some time to start keeping a prayer journal. Write down your prayer requests, both the small and seemingly impossible, and write the date beside it. Commit to praying for these requests frequently and watch to see how God works. Whenever He answers a prayer, write that date down to remember that God hears your prayers and is always at work.
