EquipHer Vol. 29: "How to Measure Our Productivity? "નમૂનો

Day 2 – Done with Excellence!
Excellence and intentionality create a lasting impact.
As women involved in the business world, we have to be aware that God is looking for work that reflects His heart and His character—work done with excellence, purpose, and care.
In Exodus 31, after Israel’s deliverance from Egypt, God commanded Moses to build the tabernacle–the dwelling place of His presence among His people (Exodus 31:1-6). This was no ordinary task: every dimension, detail, and material had to reflect the greatness and perfection of God. For this reason, the Lord chose one, specific man for this assignment: Bezalel. Scripture tells us that God called him by name and filled him with His Spirit, granting him wisdom, understanding, and knowledge to excel in every aspect of the work (Exodus 31:3).
Bezalel’s mastery did not come from his talent alone, but from a combination of three elements that we can cultivate to live out the excellence God desires for us:
- Skill: Bezalel possessed concrete skills. He was a skilled craftsman who was capable of working with precious materials. His precision in cutting stones and carving wood, created objects of the highest quality, including the tabernacle (Exodus 31:4–5). Take a moment to identify some of your natural abilities, passions, or cultivated skills, and reflect on the efficiency of your time and energy in these areas.
- Alignment: Bezalel had a heart yielded to God. He was not chosen merely for his skill, but because he was willing to use his skills to serve a purpose that was not his own. The tabernacle was not the product of his ideas or ambitions; it was a work commissioned by God to manifest His presence among His people (Exodus 35:30–35). Bezalel’s willingness to say, “Here I am. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8, NIV), reveals a heart not driven by personal gain, but by a desire to serve God’s purposes above all else. Whatever your career may be, are you working with all your heart—as though you are working for the Lord (Col. 3:23-24)?
- Anointing: Bezalel was anointed for this specific assignment. The Lord declared, “I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills” (Exodus 31:3, NIV). The Holy Spirit guided his discernment, creativity, and craftsmanship that reflected God’s glory, and will do the same for you. Which of your identified skills or passions has the capacity to do the following three things: (1) glorify God (2) serve others, and (3) give you purpose in life?
When these three elements combine—skills, alignment, and the power of the Holy Spirit at work within us—then our work is elevated. It becomes something that carries eternal impact, blesses others, and bears God’s signature.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for the gifts and talents You have given me to fulfill the purpose You have established for my life. Take the skills You have placed in me and use them for Your purposes. Align my desires with Yours and fill me with Your Spirit, just as You did with Bezalel, so that my work may be guided by Your wisdom, creativity, and strength. I want every action I take, even the smallest, to become an act of worship that reflects Your glory and leaves an impact that lasts for eternity. Amen.
