The river that heals
In Ezekiel’s final vision, he’s shown a river flowing from the temple – starting as a trickle, then ankle-deep, then rising until it becomes a mighty, life-giving current. Wherever the river flows, life follows. Fruit trees flourish. Salt water becomes fresh. Healing springs up. It’s a picture of the Holy Spirit flowing out from the presence of God, bringing transformation wherever it goes.
That river flows today – through Jesus, into us, and out into the world. You may feel like your ‘river’ is only ankle-deep, just a small beginning. But don’t despise the trickle. God is moving. As we step deeper into His presence, He draws us into the current of His purpose and power. He leads us beyond what’s comfortable and into what’s transformational. This river reaches dry places. It brings healing to wounds we thought were permanent. It carries hope into hopeless situations. You are not stagnant. God’s Spirit in you is flowing – bringing life, peace and restoration.
So step in. Go deeper. Let the river carry you. Wherever it flows, everything shall live.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, flow through every part of me. Heal what’s broken. Refresh what’s weary. Take me deeper in Your presence and let Your life-giving power touch everything around me. I trust in Your healing river. Amen.

About this Plan

Do you feel like God is calling you to step into something scary or unknown? Well, you’re not alone! All throughout the Bible, God didn’t just call people into difficult assignments, He promised to stay near them, He prepared them, He comforted them – and this five-day plan gives us an example of this through a snapshot of Ezekiel’s life.
