2 Corinthiansનમૂનો

Paul mentions several important principles concerning giving.
Giving operates under a spiritual principle of blessing
Paul describes it with an image from agriculture: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly—whoever sows generously will also reap generously (v. 6). This is not a guarantee of external success, but a spiritual principle: God blesses generosity—in His own way and in His own time.
- Giving should be voluntary
What counts is not external pressure, but what has been decided in the heart (v. 7). - God loves a cheerful giver
Voluntary and joyful giving corresponds to the nature of God and brings joy—to the giver, the receiver, and God Himself (v. 7). - God provides for the giver
Paul offers encouragement: God gives to the one who gives. He ensures that one has enough for oneself—and often even more than enough, in order to keep on giving (vv. 8–10). - Giving in proper balance
In verse 12, Paul emphasizes: No one should fall into need themselves because they give. It is not about self-sacrifice, but about mutual balance. - Giving helps others—and honors God
Helping those in need leads to thanksgiving and the worship of God. (vv. 12–13). Giving is a testimony. - Giving creates community
It connects churches with one another, deepens love, and encourages prayer for one another (v. 14).
For Reflection
My relationship with God is also expressed in my generosity.

About this Plan

“It’s complicated”—that is probably an apt way to describe the relationship between Paul and the church in Corinth. His first letter was met with resistance: some rejected his criticism and even questioned his authority. Paul traveled to Corinth in person—a painful visit. After he returned, he wrote a severe letter in tears. The church responded: many repented. Paul heard about this from Titus and wrote again—our Second Letter to the Corinthians. It is a testimony to genuine reconciliation, to love that has been hurt, and to the divine power that can heal even broken relationships, even today.
