The Unworthy Parent: God’s Grace in Your Gaps

DAY 3 OF 3

Standing in Spiritual Confidence

You are not who you were.

You’ve been forgiven.
You’ve been healed.
You’ve been repositioned.

You may not feel like a bold leader—
But God already calls you one.
He doesn’t wait for perfection.
He honors surrender.

You are the righteous parent.
Not because you always get it right,
But because you’re rooted in Christ.
You’ve been made new—
And it’s time to walk in that new identity.

2 Corinthians 5:21 says,
“He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.”

That’s not a suggestion.
That’s a spiritual fact.

You can walk in confidence.
You can lead with peace.
You can show your children who you are now,
Not who you used to be.

Let them see your growth.
Let them hear your voice again.
Let them witness consistency that only the Holy Spirit could build.

You don’t need to prove yourself.
You just need to show up surrendered.

You are not parenting from guilt anymore.
You are parenting from grace,
From power,
From identity.

This is your comeback.
And it’s just the beginning.

Prayer
Father,
Thank You for making me righteous—
Not by my record, but by Your redemption.
Help me to lead with boldness.
To speak with authority.
To build a home rooted in grace.
Let my children see the transformation in me—
And let them be marked by it.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
