Living With Joy

DAY 4 OF 4

Paul understood something we all need to learn: joy in the Holy Spirit isn't tied to how good life feels. It's rooted in who God is and how close we stay to him.

Paul worshiped from a prison cell even while he and Silas were chained up. Later, while locked up again, he wrote to the Philippians and told them to be content and always rejoice.

How? Because Paul knew God was with him. He had confidence that no matter what happened, God could use it for good.

That kind of joy isn’t fake positivity or pretending everything’s fine. It’s the kind of joy that brings peace, even in the middle of anxiety, depression, or confusion.

Is there a situation in your life where joy feels out of reach? Try asking the Holy Spirit to carry you through it with his peace and presence.

Thanks for joining us for this 4-day journey. We hope you're walking away with a deeper understanding of the joy that comes only from the Holy Spirit.

Keep seeking, keep trusting, and keep leaning into the Spirit who is always with you.

In this 4-day reading plan, we'll learn about the joy God offers to followers of Jesus. This isn't fake positivity. It's about trusting that God offers a joy no one can take away.
