Breaking Free From Shameનમૂનો

We all have old clothes we hold onto. They’re worn out, but they’ve been with us so long it feels easier to keep them than toss them. Shame works the same way. Even after Jesus makes us new, we sometimes keep reaching for our old identity.
But Isaiah reminds us: we’ve been given a new wardrobe. God clothes us with salvation and wraps us in righteousness. The old garments—our mistakes, our shame—don’t fit anymore.
So today, ask yourself: Why am I still wearing what God has already replaced? Let go of what no longer suits you. Walk confidently in the beautiful covering of his grace.
Prayer:
God, thank you for giving me a new identity in Jesus. Help me release what no longer defines me and embrace the joy of walking fully clothed in your righteousness. Amen.

About this Plan

Shame is one of the enemy’s most subtle weapons. It whispers lies about our worth, our past, and our place in God’s family. It convinces us we’re too broken, too stained, too far gone. But this week, we are reminding ourselves of the truth: in Christ, we are fully forgiven, completely loved, and truly free.
