Character in the Makingનમૂનો

This can’t go on…
A huge bang and suddenly my car hood started smoking like crazy… on the highway!
The radiator had actually exploded, which happens when the engine overheats. If the cooling system doesn’t function properly, the pressure inside the radiator can build up and cause damage or even make it burst.
We always think: “That would never happen to me!” And then it does. If you keep going and the pressure inside you keeps building up…
Today, I want to ask you—in all love—“Where are you about to burst?”
Is it possible that you’re about to burst because you’re not making room for God in your life?
King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream, and he described it like this: “I, Nebuchadnezzar, was living comfortably in my palace, enjoying great prosperity. But one day… I had a terrifying dream that made me afraid…” (Daniel 4:4-5 NLT)
In this dream, Nebuchadnezzar saw himself as a great tree whose top reached the sky. (You can read the full story in Daniel 4:1-34 NLT) His life represented pure success. But it was success without God. And God warned him that the king would lose everything…
Because humans aren’t made for that. A person will explode if they see themselves as responsible for their own success and celebrate themselves for it. That internal pressure will always lead to damage or bursting. So:
If you’re about to burst, you need to make room for what’s right.
Nebuchadnezzar experienced what God had warned him about: He lost everything…
Until… until his character was ready to accept the truth:
“After this time had passed, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven. My sanity returned, and I praised and worshiped the Most High and honored the one who lives forever. His rule is everlasting, and his kingdom is eternal. All the people of the earth are nothing compared to him. He does as he pleases among the angels of heaven and among the people of the earth… When my sanity returned to me, so did my honor and glory, and my kingdom. My advisers and nobles sought me out, and I was restored as head of my kingdom, with even greater honor than before.” (Daniel 4:34-36 NLT)
If you feel like you’re about to burst, it might be that you’ve taken the place of honor that belongs to God. Do you want to consciously give Him back the place that’s rightfully His today? Then turn back… and experience His goodness! (See Psalm 145:9 NLT)
You are a miracle!
