No Pressureનમૂનો

It’s easy to get caught up in what we can see with our own eyes. It’s easy to feel discouraged or disheartened when we witness or walk through pain. But despite our outward struggles and challenges, we don’t need to be discouraged or give up because our faith is anchored in a greater, unseen reality. While our physical bodies may deteriorate, our inner being is renewed day by day through the work of the Holy Spirit. Our present troubles are only momentary compared to the eternal weight of glory that awaits us. We can fix our gaze on the things that are not seen—the spiritual realities—rather than getting caught up in the temporary concerns of this world. But this is not always easy to do.
What current challenges are you facing that might tempt you to lose heart? How can you actively focus on the inner renewal happening in your life, even during difficult times? What does it mean to “set your minds on things above” (Colossians 3:2) in your daily life? Today, make a list of blessings, both big and small, to remind yourself of the good things in your life—even when facing trials. Remind yourself of Scripture passages that speak of God’s faithfulness and promises. Pray for strength and perseverance to maintain a bigger perspective during times of difficulty.

How do we handle the relentless weight without breaking down or burning out? What about God? What does He have to say about it, and does He even care? That’s what this series is all about—learning how to not only deal with the pressure, but to survive and thrive.
