God, Are You Testing Me?

DAY 5 OF 5

When you’re in the thick of a trial, the last thing you want to hear is that there's a purpose for it. Pain can feel pointless, especially when you’re doing everything you know to do: praying, believing, and showing up. And yet, nothing seems to change.

But Romans 5 reminds us that suffering is never wasted in the hands of God.

Your trial is not your end. It’s your training. It’s the gym where endurance is built. It’s the fire where character is refined. And it’s the soil where real, unshakable hope begins to grow.

God doesn’t create pain, but He transforms it. He doesn’t abandon you in the fire; He joins you in it as He did with the three men in the furnace.

The same God who allowed Jesus to face testing isn’t punishing you. He’s preparing you for something greater than you can see right now.

And when you come out on the other side, stronger and more grounded in who God is, you’ll be a source of hope for someone else who’s where you once were.

If you’ve walked through something hard and you’re still standing, you’re not just a survivor. You’re a testimony.

Let this plan be a reminder: God doesn’t lead us into temptation. He tests us to produce the fruit of the Spirit, allowing us to conform to the image of Christ. With Him, every step has meaning.
