Growing Your Faith: A Beginner's Journeyનમૂનો

Day 5: Thinking About What You Think About
Recently, I listened to a powerful song titled "Once Upon a Time" by the musician, SaulPaul. In this song, he reflects on the life experiences of young people facing challenges and how they overcame them. One verse tells the inspiring story of a young girl named Tammy whose life was positively transformed by two different reasons: her adoption by a loving family and a profound shift in her mindset when she faced sadness when thinking about her past. The lyrics convey a profound message as he highlights how Tammy consciously chooses "to think about what she thinks about." God calls us to this same intentionality as we read in Philippians 4:4-8.
As believers, we are called to embody our faith. By reading and living out His word, we can fully experience the transformative power of Christ in our lives, as urged in Colossians 3:1-4 and James 1: 22-25.
My prayer is that through this five-day journey, your faith has been stretched, and your mind has been challenged to consider how God's word can help you grow in intimacy with Him and enjoy the life He has for you. Letting go of what we cannot control, fostering gratitude, stepping beyond our comfort zones, engaging in self-reflection, and adopting a Christ-like mindset are key.
As you wrap up this plan, what is one key takeaway you desire to embrace and act upon moving forward?
