Provisionનમૂનો

Take the scary step
To write about this topic, I decided to google some testimonies of God’s provision in other people’s lives. Yes, I have my own stories, but reading about God’s goodness is exciting!
During my search, I discovered Lindsay Hamon.
Lindsay is an ordinary bloke from the UK who, in 1980, felt called to do more with his faith. He took up street evangelism and has since become known for his global travels telling people about God’s love – whilst carrying a wooden, 12-foot cross!
I can’t imagine it was easy to quit his job and walk into (and through) foreign countries, spreading a message that wasn’t always received peacefully. Yet, from the beginning, God provided for Lindsay: from his employer believing in what he was doing and doubling his pay cheque, to people pulling over in their cars to give him money that just happened to be the exact amount of his hotel bill!
You too have been called to step out in faith and share God’s love with those around you. Maybe traversing the globe isn’t in His plan for you, but you still have friends, family, and colleagues who need to hear this good news!
2 Corinthians 9:8 promises us that God will provide everything we need at all times. So, let’s trust Him with our needs, fears, and wants. Take that first scary step. He’s got you!

About this Plan

“If we believe that God has not withheld even His Son, how can we not trust that He will graciously give us all things? Everything comes from Him. When we acknowledge this, gratitude begins to grow in our hearts. Everything we need is in His hands.” (All Things From His Hand – Quynh Eastman). As you follow this plan, take a moment to recognize how He is providing for you.
