Power On!નમૂનો

Have you ever been surprised by the taste of an excellent avocado or a perfectly ripe nectarine?
There are signs on the outside that these fruits are going to be good, but you can’t know it for sure until you open them up and take a bite.
In John 1, Jesus is confirming His true identity to the first disciples. They can see that He is ‘someone good and powerful’ on the outside, but they do not yet understand who He really is. He invites them repeatedly to "come and see”. As they begin to believe in His power, He affirms them, “You shall see greater things than these.”
They are on the cusp of seeing him unleash miracles!
Lift your expectations. Jesus truly is who He says He is! Even though we often struggle to see beyond our human sight and understanding, know that Jesus’ character is more than good. He is more than able to exceed your expectations. So, take courage in Him today.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You that You are good and You hear my prayers. Help me lift my eyes and expectations as I put my hope in You today. Amen.

About this Plan

With Jesus, we want to go from "standing by" to stepping out! Through these readings, experience stories of when God led people to turn "on" their spiritual power and saw the Holy Spirit move through them. God is ready to do miracles on Earth, but we can miss out on what He is ready to do by staying in the boat like Peter nearly did. These Scriptures will encourage you to step out of the boat and see the Power of the Holy Spirit move!
