Homes on Fireનમૂનો

A Resting Place
In Matthew 11:28, Jesus said,”come”. Maybe that’s because we're not close to him.
Often our work, activities, and worries distract us, and the result is weariness. Rest is not in having holidays, in sleeping more, or in not doing anything at all, but it is in being intimately connected to Him, listening to Him, obeying Him, and trusting Him. The work we do when we are connected to Him and His purpose produces delight and pleasure. It is not a weight or a burden, nor does it cause insomnia or anxiety.
A family can be a place of rest.
When we begin to understand that all our problems were solved on the cross of Calvary and that we have everything we need, we will find rest in Him.
Challenge
· As a family, talk about things that cause you anxiety and weariness
· Write down the things that steal your rest. Decide to eliminate what you can.
· Worship the Father for taking your burdens and ask Him to be your rest.

About this Plan

The word “home” derives from the words " focus and fire. In ancient times, families gathered around the bonfire, and that gave them a sense of protection. God's desire is that your home may be a source of light, warmth, and protection. The purpose of this devotional plan is to help you keep the fire of God's love burning and make your home an altar of worship for Him.
