Big Rest Energy: Cultivating Powerful Rest Habits in a Busy Worldનમૂનો

Day 11: Lessons in the Wilderness
Devotion:
Let’s be real: wilderness seasons are hard. They’re uncomfortable, uncertain, and often feel like they’re dragging on forever. You wonder if you’ll ever see the other side, and sometimes it feels like God is distant. But here’s the truth: the wilderness isn’t wasted. It’s often where God does His deepest work in us.
In these seasons, God is shaping you, refining your character, and teaching you to trust Him in ways you never have before. When you can’t see the way forward, He’s asking you to rely on His guidance one step at a time. It’s in the wilderness that you learn that His provision is enough, His timing is perfect, and His presence is unshakable.
The wilderness isn’t forever, and it’s not meaningless. God is using it to prepare you for what’s next, to deepen your faith, and to show you that He’s with you even in the hardest places. So today, if you find yourself in a wilderness season, hold on to this truth: God is working, even if you can’t see it yet. Trust that there’s a purpose in the process, and He’s leading you through it.
Prayer:
God, thank You for walking with me through the wilderness. Help me to see the lessons You’re teaching me and trust Your plan. Amen.
Journal Prompt:
What’s one lesson you’ve learned from a challenging season in your life?
Practical Application:
Write a note of encouragement to someone going through a difficult season, reminding them that God is faithful.
