Ordinary Mystics: From Disciples of the Internet to Experiencing Jesus. Really. By John Eldredgeનમૂનો

Become Like a Child
Children have an uncanny ability to experience joy because they don’t allow doubt to get in the way.
If you tell a child, “We’re going to the beach tomorrow!” their immediate response is not, “Yeah… maybe. We’ll see. Did you even check the weather?” That’s the adult response. A child simply receives the promise of adventure and enjoys both the anticipation and the experience itself.
Maybe remembering this will help us grasp what Jesus was saying: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 18:3).
Jesus is trying to rescue us from the skepticism and cynicism that adulthood brings. He wants us to trust Him fully, without needing all the details first.
