The Way to Follow Jesus According to the Gospel of Lukeનમૂનો

Day 20 - Luke 22:1-30
Handling Betrayal
Jesus knew His time for offering Himself as the sacrifice for our sins was drawing near. There was no fear. There was instead a complete surrender to the Father’s will, fueled by His love for the lost.
That would include Judas the betrayer, one of His own. Knowing ahead of time that Judas, of his own free will, would betray Him, Jesus continues to show love. Judas is not confronted ahead of time to abandon his plans and stay faithful to His Master. No, instead Jesus includes him in the last supper Passover meal with an offer to partake of the covenant renewal.
Such an incredible expression of unconditional love offered to the very one, who by his betrayal, would lead Jesus to the cross.
There may be times, when like Judas, you feel as though you betrayed your Lord. Maybe it was through a sinful action or perhaps like Peter a denial that you belonged to Him.
Do you repent and in sorrow come running back to the loving arms of a forgiving Jesus?
Or on the flip side, maybe you’ve been betrayed. Do you offer forgiveness and love to your betrayer … like Jesus does?
