A Family of Connectionનમૂનો

A family of connection is united.
When I was looking to purchase my first home, my father gave me one advice; buy a home made from brick or block, not a wood frame home. He wanted my first home to last. A family that is united is like a strong brick wall. Each brick, on its own, provides little protection, but when laid together with care, they create a structure that is sturdy and resilient. In the same way, each member of a family plays a unique and essential role. When we live in unity, supporting one another, we form a solid foundation that can withstand the storms of life.
Unity creates an atmosphere of peace and harmony where love can flourish. It requires humility, a willingness to put aside pride, and the effort to live peaceably with others, even when challenges arise.
When we remain united, serving one another in love, we reflect God’s design for us. Our gifts and strengths, when used together, make the family stronger.
Oftentimes the rhythms of life can get in the way of connection in family despite our best intentions. There's something that has helped change our family along with hundreds of others. Each week, we receive a one-page guide with a Bible verse, worship song, seven daily conversation questions, and a short prayer for family time. In just 25 minutes a day, it helps us be intentional with our family. If you’re interested in the “Leading Your Family Weekly Guide,” you can get it here: https://www.faithfamilyweekly.com/
Question for your family: What’s one thing you can do this week to help be more united as a family?
