Treasures in Heaven

The national church leaders in Australia tell us one of the greatest challenges they face is consumerism, the pursuit of wealth and pleasure here and now. Of all the challenges the gospel has faced; is this not the most persistent? Is this not the one that every generation has had to face and defeat to expand the Kingdom? Pray today that like many before us, we will also reject the temporary and very false hope earthy security can offer us. Choose intentionally to build your treasure in heaven as Jesus Himself has taught us.
