The Justice of God
Key Scripture: Isaiah 24:5-6; 25:1, 4
God is a God of justice. His justice is rooted in His holiness and righteousness. He doesn’t ignore sin but confronts it, bringing justice to the earth. Yet, His justice is also an expression of His love, ensuring that evil is dealt with and that His people are protected.
In Isaiah, we see that God’s justice leads to praise and security for those who trust in Him. Even in the midst of judgment, God provides refuge and shelter for the needy. His justice isn’t about punishment alone but about setting things right, restoring what has been broken.
Today, take comfort in knowing that God’s justice is perfect. He sees all, knows all, and is working to bring about His good purposes in the world. Praise Him for His faithfulness and trust in His justice, knowing that it will lead to ultimate peace and restoration.
Prayer: Righteous God, I praise You for Your perfect justice. Thank You for being a God who sees all and brings about what is right. Help me to trust in Your justice, even when I don’t understand Your ways. May I find refuge in Your presence and peace in knowing that You are in control. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
