Love Erases the Past, But the Past Does Not Erase Love

We all have a past. Some have a cute past, which makes them proud to tell; others a past that is better not to comment on. But when we choose to follow our God, when we choose to have Him with us always by our side as Lord and Savior, He erases everything that happened to us in the past and begins a blank page in our life. From then on, our past will never be remembered by Him, but it will serve as a lesson and learning so that we don't experience it again.

His love is wonderful. So wonderful that once we try it, we don't want to put it aside. If it's for you to remember your past, let it be to see how far you've come and how much you've overcome. Don't let your past keep you away from God. Let yourself experience His love; let yourself be filled with His love. His is a love that nothing can erase, not even your worst sin ever committed. Our repentance, when it is in fact and true, makes us stronger in Him.
