I Love You More Than Everything

Has our enthusiasm for God been full or only half full? Is the love we give to Him ALL of our love? What remains of the other things we insist on loving more than Him? When Mark 12:30 says to love God “with all your strength” it’s not just saying with your hands raised until you get a cramp (and look, most of us don’t even reach that point). God says to love Him above all our circumstances, even when tiredness strikes, even when we feel powerless due to something we're going through. even when we are physically tired from working hard or for any other reason. Even when we are dragging on the ground because we are so tired, we are to love God with ALL our strength. ALL YOUR STRENGTH. All. This is what He expects from us. Or rather… this is the MINIMUM that He expects from us. How do we have courage to deliver less than that? We invite you to surrender your enthusiasm IN FULL. Don’t say “God accepts it because he sees the intention of my heart”; Let's get rid of this lame excuse and give ourselves IN WHOLE. Our love must be completely deposited in Him!!!
