Stronghold of Hope

No matter what has bound us in the past, God offers us freedom in His love. He calls us to come back to Him, to return to the fortress of His kingdom and to find hope in Him. He will restore what life has taken from us, and He will give us even more than what we started out with. He really is that gracious and good.

Don’t let the discouragement of loss keep you from hoping in Him. God is not finished working miracles of mercy in your life. He is the restorer, redeemer, and resurrection life. Nothing is impossible for Him. He creates gardens out of the ashes of disappointment. He sows goodness into the lining of our suffering. There is nothing He cannot renew, and this includes you!

Hope is a renewable resource. You cannot reach the end of it. Go to the Lord with all that you carry and trust Him to do what He promises to. He is faithful and true, and He can restore what you could never dream of repairing on your own.
