Jesus Isનમૂનો

Day 2: Born and/or before
Let’s start at the beginning, or before the beginning - Jesus was born at a specific time in history; His life is recorded by ancient historians, but the Bible says he was there before the world even began. Today’s scriptures present a familiar but supernatural contradiction because the season of Christmas celebrates the beginning of life for an eternal God. How can God be both without beginning and yet be born into a moment in time? How can the Word be at the beginning and begin again by coming in the flesh? And why is this important for the life of the Christian?
1. Which of these two parts of Jesus am I more comfortable with? Why?
1. What can I learn about Jesus and put into practice from accepting the part of Jesus that comes less naturally to me?
2. Write a short statement to remind yourself of these multi-faceted truths about Jesus.
a. Luke 2:8–14
b. Psalm 40:2
c. 1 Peter 1:20
d. John 1:1-14
About this Plan

This December, we want to celebrate who JESUS IS. He is much more than we can comprehend; He is so good and multi-faceted! This reading plan will serve as an opportunity to look deeper into the many aspects of Jesus this holiday season. This plan was created by Madeleine Weidemann.
