Shout for Joy

We often pray without expecting much of a response, so it is good to acknowledge those times when we see that God has answered our prayers.

These stories in Scripture help to build our faith, and so do the stories of our answered prayers. They are there to be shared. Be encouraged today to continue to present your requests to God, knowing that he is listening.

Father God, I have many prayers and petitions, some of them answered, others not. I am encouraged that you do answer prayers, understanding that sometimes it is not the answer I want. Let me continue to remember and share those stories where I have witnessed your answers, and let these stories encourage those who hear them.
