Turn my heart to remember you today, God. As the days go on in a sometimes-monotonous procession of work, chores, and the needs of my students, I confess I lose joy. I take for granted how glorious of a truth it is that you are trustworthy to save. You have brought me out of the kingdom of death and into your kingdom of life! Refresh my spirit. Grant me new joy in my salvation. Let this joy be contagious in my classroom. Let me see your marvelous deeds in creation and give you praise. Warm the hearts of my students and fill them with joy. Help me share your joy with them.
