Devotional: From the moment Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, sacrifice was required to atone for sin. God covered their nakedness with the skin of a sacrifice, the priests would sacrifice at the altar of the tabernacle during annual ceremonies, and Jesus became the perfect sacrifice for our sins.

The perfect blood of Jesus paid for us in full, meaning that we don’t have to make a new sacrifice each time we sin. Instead, we can repent and ask for His forgiveness and our sins are completely washed away!
