Understand whose you are

The world is full of setbacks and challenges that can pull even the strongest of Christians down. Because we are heavenly beings living under the world order, we cannot control what comes our way. However, we have control over how we respond to the challenges we face. This is why it's important to know who and whose you are. And this begins with the understanding that you are a child of God; a joint heir with Jesus Christ. When you know this, you will be able to look any challenge in the eye and stand boldly proclaiming the victory that Jesus brought on the cross. No matter how things may look at the moment, you can stand firm and be at peace, knowing that you're victorious because of the finished work of Calvary.

PRAYER: Father God, thank You that You have chosen and consecrated me to You. I thank You that You have made Your peace available to me through Your Son, Jesus Christ, and therefore I will not be discouraged. I stand firm on Your word knowing I am victorious. In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
