David - Faithful Servant, Friend and Kingનમૂનો

How many things can you think of that stick together?
Magnets stick together (or stick to metal) because of the magnetic fields; their opposite poles draw them together. Stickers stick together because of the adhesive side. Glue sticks two things together; the two surfaces can’t be separated when it dries. Some glue is so strong that it can’t be melted apart. Tape sticks things together because of the adhesive and the tape's fabric holding two things in place. Velcro sticks together using hooks and loops. One side is rough and has lots of tiny hooks, and the other is soft and has many tiny loops. The two sides stick together because the hooks cling onto the loops.
Faithful friends stick together and look out for each other. Proverbs 18:24 (The Message) says, “Friends come and friends go, but a true friend sticks by you like family.” What makes friends stick together? David and Jonathan were friends that stuck together. When tough times came, they stuck by one another and helped each other. Being a faithful friend means we love and care for our friends and stick by them. The glue that sticks friends together is things like kindness, sharing, looking out for each other, praying, and caring for one another. David was a faithful friend.
