7 Devotions and Activities for Dads and Their Kidsનમૂનો

Slime and Hard Tasks
Activity: Find a slime recipe online, help your kids follow the instructions, and have a slime-throwing party in the backyard.
Though making slime and playing with friends and family is fun, there are going to be times when we will all have to do something that may sound less than fun. In fact, it may seem too big of a task to handle. That is a thought that might have gone through Noah’s mind when God asked him to build the ark. The measurements were huge—three hundred cubits long by fifty cubits wide by thirty cubits high. That would have been bigger by far than anything Noah had ever seen, but he was faithful, and God blessed Noah and his family.
Remember that some tasks are fun, and some are hard. Embrace them both. Today you had fun making slime. What is something you had to do that wasn’t so fun? How did you get through it? Why do you think, in life, that we have to do hard things?
God in heaven, please give us the strength to handle the tasks you put in front of us.
