Helmet of Salvation

The mind has a lot of influence over our lives. The things we think, wonder, worry about, and dwell on can impact how we view the world and ourselves. This is why our thoughts need to be protected.

We are called to wear a helmet of salvation. This reminds us that it is our very salvation in God that protects our thoughts. It is the knowledge of being saved by Jesus in His deep love for us that we can think clearly about who we are and how we relate to the world.

Praying for your family’s mind to be covered and protected by their salvation will help them think clearly, know who they are, and love others well.

Father, Your lovingkindness and salvation knows no bounds. I pray that the salvation you gave would cover my family’s thoughts, that it would protect their mind like a helmet protects the head from harm. May everything they think be covered by the Truth of your love and saving grace. Amen
