Gratitude That Glorifies Godનમૂનો

Family
We all have that one crazy family member, right? The one that shows up to big family holiday parties with a whole circus of unknowns. When your family has opinions, values, and beliefs that differ, it can create a lot of tension. I’m talking about that kind of tension that builds up stress, overflows with worry, and leads to rushed time spent with the people you should cherish the most, your family.
One of the most beautiful gifts God gives us is our family. Family is our first ministry. (1 Timothy 5:8)
I recognize that you may not think you have a picture-perfect family. Family is complicated, messy, and sometimes hurtful. God didn’t give you that specific family on accident; it was on purpose for a purpose. Write down or note one thing you are grateful for regarding your family.
Pray:I know that there is one person in your family that you need to pray for. If they hurt you, pray for forgiveness. If they have different beliefs, pray for wisdom. If they are hurting, struggling, and needing hope, pray for miraculous healing.

About this Plan

It’s hard to be grateful in the comparison culture we live in. I need more influence, money, time, vacations, a bigger house, and a nicer car. Have you ever thought that? What if God has given us more than enough, and we refuse to glorify Him because we aren’t grateful for what we have? Over the next seven days, we’ll practice glorifying God through gratitude.
