Praying With Your Spouse: 3 Things to Prayનમૂનો

Pray for Unity
As we continue our devotional, let's focus on praying for unity in our marriages.
Matthew 18:19 says, "If two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven."
One of the first things I was surprised to see when we started praying together was how BONDING and UNIFYING of an experience it is.
We leave feeling like we are really on the same team; probably more from this than anything else we do together.
The way my wife Linda and I (Bob) do this is typically by waiting for the kids to go to bed and then we just put on some worship music and pace the hallway praying whatever is on our mind. Then we will pray specific Bible verses about those situations we are facing. We pray for our friends, family, our business, our kids, or anything else that the Lord drops on our hearts.
If this is new to you it might feel awkward, but it’s cool God’s there with you and He can handle it. Just talk to Him like He is there in the room with you.
