When we’re faced with the choice to do something we know may not honor God, ourselves, or others, it’s helpful to have Scripture in our minds. Why? So we know what to do! It may not make it any easier to make the wise decision (because that’s not always easy!), but it will help you know what the wise decision is.

To help yourself memorize this verse, read it at the same time every single day. Maybe even set an alarm to remind yourself. Being consistent in reading it daily at the same time will help you memorize it and practice focusing your mind and heart on God each day.
