Bro Code Devotional: Part 2 of 3નમૂનો

Holy Lord,

I pray for mercy received and mercy shown. You placed the message of mercy on my heart to be shared with our brothers. Mercy is when we deserve to be punished because of our sin, but instead, we are spared the punishment by You, Lord.

I pray our brothers understand how often Your judgment is deserved because of our actions, but by Your mercy, we are spared. Father, with this in mind, I pray that our brothers also show mercy to those within their power to punish or discipline.

It's easy to withhold something of value or swing a hand to harm another, but it is by Your example of sparing us when we deserve destruction, that I pray our brothers abide. True strength comes from showing mercy and mentoring the offending person toward the right path. Any bully can strike, but a true Christian brother will show mercy.
