Abraham, a Man Who Passed the Testનમૂનો

School, by its nature, includes tests. When it comes time to evaluate what a student has learned, the test reveals if the student really knows what they are supposed to know.
Some tests come as a surprise. We call them pop quizzes. The idea is to keep students vigilant, always prepared for an unexpected test. Then there are midterms and finals. Finals usually carry the most weight because they’re more extensive. When you pass, you can move on to the next grade level.
You can expect a test when God is ready to give you a new level of experience with Him and take you to a new level as a kingdom hero advancing His cause on earth. You don’t get to move forward just because you want to. First, you need to demonstrate you’re able to move forward.
The bad news is that a test is just that—a test. But the good news is that a test is preparation for a higher level, so that means you have something great to look forward to on the other side.
What tests have you experienced, and how have they helped you grow in your relationship with God?

About this Plan

Abraham was a man who found himself tested by God. By passing his various tests of faith, Abraham proved himself to be someone who fully trusted in God. Bestselling author Tony Evans reminds us that we will all be faced with tests, even if they are not as extreme as those Abraham went through. But as they did for him, so they offer us an opportunity for growth.
