Day 5 – Minute 3 – Pray Unselfishly for Others  

I believe one of the many reasons our prayer lives become stale, repetitious, and boring is because we get hung up on ourselves too much. However, there is a big difference in being repetitious in prayer versus being persistent in prayer. 

Jesus is our great intercessor! He is constantly making intercession for us and because He is always praying for us, He shows the importance of intercession. God is always looking for someone to hear His voice and intervene on someone’s behalf.   

When we intercede for someone, we come to that person’s defense by speaking to God on their behalf. 

Have you ever felt that sudden urge to pray? Woke up out of your sleep at odd hours? Heard a name out the blue or seen someone’s face? If you answered yes to any of these questions, that it is a burden of intercession you are feeling. 

There is a power that is released when we intercede. We are given authority and access to act as legislators in the earth realm to see God’s will fulfilled.

Somebody needs your intercession! Pray them through in Jesus Name!
