Crisis Convertedનમૂનો

Theme: Idols are worthless.
Crisis Converted Then:
Trusting anything less than God is useless. God calls the idols to the witness stand. He dares them to offer their strongest arguments for their existence. He even taunts, “Tell us history; prophecy for us the future! Do something!” God’s verdict is that these idols are “less than nothing.”
Crisis Converted Now:
In our lives, anything less than God can’t be relied on to redeem our crisis. When we experience pain, displeasure and even pandemics, no amount of binge-watching, money hoarding or comfort eating can make the crisis go away. No exercise routine, no social media posting, no home improvement project will rescue us. Choosing to trust in these things over God is detestable. There is a better way, a better One. Choose him today!

About this Plan

This study from Isaiah 40-55 explores our identity as people affected by trauma but living in hope. In the exile, God’s nation had to find new life when their old life had been completely overturned and destroyed. Similarly, we now find ourselves trying to “return to normal” in the aftermath of a global pandemic. Yet, God can take any crisis and convert it for his glory and our growth.
