There's Hope For Todayનમૂનો

Adam is given paradise and God’s presence. Adam is also given a simple restriction, and Adam fails. Paradise is lost. The Genesis record takes us forward to the days of Noah, wherein sin has so corrupted God’s creation that God sends the flood. Will Noah and his sons do better than Adam? The answer is painful to observe as mankind rushes toward Babel in stubborn rebellion against God. Noah fails. Is paradise slipping away? The Genesis record takes us forward to Abraham and a covenant brimming with promise. Abraham establishes a people through whom all the nations of the earth will be blessed, and yet sin is not eradicated. Abraham fails. Israel, rather than blessing other nations, ends up in slavery. And the Genesis record moves forward to Moses. To Moses, God gives the law to lead the people in ways of righteousness, but the law is constantly violated. The law fails to make men righteous. Moses fails. And so the prophets speak, and they are ignored or silenced. Kingdoms rise in Israel and Judah, but the kings and their kingdoms fall. Man lives and dies so far from paradise. And then God sends His Son, and with his appearing, history begins to rush toward … paradise.
