There's Hope For Todayનમૂનો

It seems that Paul finds his protégé to be a bit timid. “Fight!” Paul says. “Fight the good fight of faith.” The church needs a few more fighters these days. I’m not talking about infighters, but rather those who can wield the Sword of the Spirit to do battle against our real adversary.

We are adequately supplied with weaponry (Ephesians 6:14-18) and allies (1 Corinthians 12:14).

Instead of triumphant confidence, we overestimate the strength of our adversary. Instead of boldness, we idle in uncertainties. Instead of pulling down strongholds, we pick apart one another and fight like children. Instead of manifesting the power of God, we languish in meanness and mediocrity.

The church is at her best when united for Christ, and against evil. Shoulder to shoulder we are intimidating. Separated we are easily intimidated. Victory is sure for those who unite, and fight!
