There's Hope For Todayનમૂનો

Namaan fell into a common trap. He failed to realize that God rarely asks us to do spectacular things.
He asks us to consistently perform simple tasks; to walk in a simple obedience; to live our lives quietly (1 Thessalonians 4:11).
Namaan was put off by the simplicity of the prophet’s instruction. Elisha told him to go dip seven times in the Jordan River. The prospect of dipping in a muddy river lacked the dignity that Namaan had anticipated. If he were asked to sacrifice fifty oxen, lead a prayer processional through the Syrian capital, donate fifty talents of silver to the poor, and fast for a week, he would have done it. Dipping in the Jordan was just too simple; too earthy; too private for Namaan.
God grows greatness out of small obedience. We need a new awareness of the power of everyday faithfulness. What flows out of us is far greater than what can be seen in us if we take care of the little things.
God’s probably not asking you to take your city, but He is asking you to love your neighbor. He’s not asking you to give all you have to the poor, but He is asking you to give when you see your brother in need. Greatness cannot grow except from simple obedience.
