Three offers – three rejections – I was now expecting her to rattle off an 800 number I could call if I changed my mind. To my surprise, she burst out laughing … “Military helicopter miles … that’s funny,” she said. “Glad I brightened your day,” said I. She clicked off to dial up another mark. I’ll bet she’s used to rejection.
