Faith
The ability to look forward is a sign of life. A healthy marriage always looks to the future. A healthy company projects itself forward. A strong generation hopes and dreams for the future. A great nation plans for the best ahead of them.
Faith is directly related to our future because faith is the reason why we hope that the best is yet to come. Faith becomes the very foundation for us to reimagine our lives. It's not something that we fabricate, instead it comes from God when we listen to His Word. If faith comes by hearing, then so is everything that contradicts faith, such as worries and fears. Therefore, we need to pay attention to the things we hear and read every single day. Wisdom and understanding also build our faith.
Abraham and Sarah kept on believing that they were going to have a child and they acted upon their faith. Faith without deeds is dead. If we let God’s Word takes over our lives, we will be strengthened and we can do things that we have never done before. Faith also creates an atmosphere for miracles to happen. So, what are the things in your life that you want to do, out of your faith in God and His promises?
Pray
God, whatever may happen in my life, I want to live by faith and not depending on the things that I can see. Strengthen and lead me each day through Your Word. Holy Spirit, give me wisdom, understanding, and courage to live by faith. I want to live according to Your will upon my life.
