'In the Lord I Take Refuge' invites readers to experience the Psalms in a new way through heartfelt devotional content written by Dane Ortlund. Each reading is short enough to read in five minutes or less and will encourage believers to thoughtfully ponder and pray through selected Psalms.

This is the fourth part of a reading plan through the Bible following the lectionary pattern of reading in the Psalms, Old Testament, and New Testament each day. In addition, this part of the plan will also focus on our only comfort in life and death from questions 1 & 2 of the Heidelberg Catechism.

The book of Psalms expresses the heart and soul of humanity. It is through the psalms that we see a whole range of human experiences and emotions expressed. This book of the Bible is an honest outpouring of the heart, reflecting a dynamic, powerful, and life-changing relationship with God.
