Seek First 365: A One Year Bible Reading Plan for Daily DevotionNäide

Reflection:
- What is the purpose of the book of Proverbs according to the passage you just read? What can you expect to glean from reading Proverbs?
- According to Proverbs 1:7, how can you develop wisdom in your life?
- The fear of the Lord implies that we all must form habits of submission, awe, worship, and reverence of God in our daily lives. How does this way of living help you grow in your own understanding?
Pray and Apply:
Reflect on what it means to fear the Lord––not from a place of terror, but as a child of God living in obedient devotion to Him. Ask the Holy Spirit to examine your heart and reveal any places you lack wisdom due to disobedience. If disobedience is hindering your growth, take a couple of minutes in prayer to repent. Thank God that He desires to give you wisdom as you live in obedience to His ways, and celebrate the deeper knowledge and understanding you will gain in your life!
