Loving Righteousness, Hating Iniquity
God’s kingdom is measured by righteousness. To love righteousness is to value what God values. To hate iniquity is to reject anything that distorts His truth.
Iniquity is deliberate wrongdoing. It happens when we know what is right but choose otherwise. As believers, we must not normalize this. Paul reminded Timothy that doctrine matters because it divides truth from error. When we fail to study Scripture, we open the door to deception.
Let us be Berean believers who fact-check every teaching (Acts 17:11). Don't follow charisma; follow character. Study the Word, test the spirits, and stand firm in truth. Righteousness is the atmosphere where God’s anointing flows; it's not an optional virtue.
If we desire the oil of gladness, we must create an environment where holiness thrives. Love righteousness, hate iniquity, and you will see God’s presence rest on your life.
